Frank Romano, PLS 6394

The surveyor behind every project.

Professional quality, professional service.

Frank has spent more than four decades walking the boundaries, reading the records, and making sense of the old deeds and rough terrain that define High Desert surveying. From single-family lots in Yucca Valley to large acreage parcels near Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms, every job gets the same methodical approach: research the records, gather the physical field evidence, perform the math, make a boundary determination, and deliver results you can rely on.

Beyond his own practice, Frank has also taught land surveying — sharing the craft with the next generation of surveyors and passing along hard-earned lessons from decades in the field.

When you hire Frank Romano Surveying, Frank is personally involved in every project — from pulling the records to signing off on the final product. On the ground, he works alongside a small, trusted team who help carry out the fieldwork. That hands-on, personal approach is how it's been since 1993, and it's why the firm has earned its reputation in the Morongo Basin.

"Do it right the first time."
— Frank Romano, PLS 6394
Our Approach

What you can expect.

01

Accuracy first

A survey is only as good as the research behind it. We pull County records, search prior surveys, and verify monuments before a single pin goes in the ground.

02

Local knowledge

Four decades of local work means we've seen the quirks — old records, vague legal descriptions, rough terrain, unrecorded easements — and we know how to work through them.

03

Direct communication

You'll talk to a real surveyor, not a call center. We explain what we're doing, why we're doing it, and what to expect before, during, and after the work.
