Sectional Boundary Surveys

A surveyor sometimes uses sketches and photographs to visually illustrate encroachment of items discovered while performing a survey such as, buildings and fences.

Encroachment/Location Sketches

Legal Descriptions describe the boundaries of parcels conveyed in a deed. Typically required for Lot Line Adjustments, Parcel Mergers and road or utility easements. With a few exceptions, California law requires that they be written by licensed land surveyors.
